Description
In its 10th edition, Open House Porto debuts the new “Open Office” activity, which aims to bring the public closer to the reality of architects and demystify the profession. This initiative is a platform for people to connect and interact with architecture professionals, promoting a greater understanding of the discipline and its impact on everyday life and making it more accessible to everyone. On July 5, between 6pm and 8pm, four architecture studios, one from each OHP city, will open their doors to welcome visitors. The visits will take place in sessions every 30 minutes (at 6pm, 6.30pm, 7pm and 7.30pm), and access will be on a first-come, first-served basis. As well as seeing the workspaces, you’ll be able to attend short presentations where the architects talk about their creative process, the projects they’re working on, the challenges they face and the impact that what they build has on our cities. Open Office is an invitation to talk, learn and celebrate architecture - and the professionals who make it possible - in a close and relaxed way.
