Description

The architectural visors are back at Open House Porto! In this edition, we invite the public to take part in a creative action that invites you to observe, imagine and transform the urban landscape, an activity to draw new horizons for the city. Ask the OHP monitor for a viewfinder and a marker, choose a frame of the urban space where you are, observe the silhouette of the buildings, the voids, the skylines, and draw what you see through your viewfinder. Next, we propose that you reinvent this urban profile, adding what you imagine, what you would like to see or what you believe could exist in this place in the future. Trees, bridges, innovative buildings, hanging gardens, public art or other unexpected elements - anything is possible! Each participant draws an individual piece and, over the course of the weekend, these pieces are brought together to build a large visual structure, a collective urban profile, made up of everyone’s ideas, desires and visions. Come and draw with us at OHP’25 - one piece at a time, let’s shape our shared urban imaginary! Record this experience and share your photos with us!
