Description
This romantic building with its pronounced eclecticism and stonework decoration is a representative example of Oliveira Ferreira’s work, in which the Heliântia Clinic is an exception, as it incorporates modern elements. A corner building, it consists of two symmetrical volumes joined by a third central body with a staircase and a large balcony. Visitors are invited to visit the interior of the Town Hall and go up to the Great Hall and the balcony. (Carlos Machado e Moura and Jorge Figueira, OHP’16)
