Description
ALTI arquitectos is an architecture office founded in 2018 by Tiago Sampaio and Alexandra Couto, after professional experiences in Portugal and Switzerland. Based in a house-atelier in Vila Nova de Gaia, its activity is mainly centered in the northern region and covers different scales and programs - from single-family and two-family housing to public tenders and commercial and service spaces. Starting from a critical view of the discipline, the practice is based on the search for timeless spaces, founded on the tension between the reading of the place and universal phenomenological principles.
