Description
OODA, founded in 2010 by Diogo Brito, Rodrigo Vilas-Boas and Francisco Lencastre, was later reinforced by João Jesus and Julião Pinto Leite. With offices in Porto and Lisbon, it has more than 60 architects of various nationalities. The team stands out for its creative and analytical approach, challenging conventional practices and adapting every project to its specific context. OODA works on various scales and programs, from single-family homes to masterplans or institutional spaces. The work process begins and ends on site, combining diverse references and formal languages. They use techniques ranging from sketches to three-dimensional models, supported by a workshop with 3D printing and CNC technology. Collaboration is central, promoted by an internal horizontal structure that encourages communication and joint resolution of challenges. OODA’s international recognition is reflected in awards, publications and academic presences, consolidating its position as a benchmark in contemporary architecture.
