100 years after the first municipal session was held there, precisely in 1925, on 1 March this year the full refurbishment of the Paços do Concelho de Vila Nova de Gaia was inaugurated. In association with this moment, every Saturday from 8 March, between 4pm and 5pm, Encontros com a Música (Encounters with Music) have been taking place in the building’s atrium, with the main staircase as the stage for the choirs and the space next to the colonnade for the small ensembles. This cycle of concerts, with free admission, limited to the capacity of the space, will take place every Saturday at 4pm until 13 September 2025.
